I know it can be daunting to do something like this for some of you, but know that if you do go ahead and either apply or just send me a short message, you will be making a considerable step toward taking positive action in your life.

Preferred communication

I understand it can be really difficult to make the leap to reach out and even overwhelming. I find it hard myself!

I’m an introvert and have always found communication hard in the past so I have a lot of empathy.

I used to turn down opportunities for coaching and courses I wanted when I got to the sign up forms (just like this one!)

I didn’t have the courage to reach out because the mode of communication just felt too overwhelming.

I have lost count of the number of forms I have scrolled through in the past only to look at the questions and leave them all blank…

As an example, for some introverts just the thought of picking up a phone to a stranger is gut-wrenching, but this shouldn’t have to stop you from making progress elsewhere in your life.

So I know this matters and can influence whether you will go ahead or not. I definitely struggle with this sometimes.

The people I work with all have their preferred modes and many are introverts and struggle with interactions. I have a lot of flexibility around this because I want you to be comfortable and I know how much it makes a difference.

I know it’s important and I never want this to be a barrier to you being able to make progress and this starts from the very first contact.

Here are the most common options:

  1. Zoom Video

  2. Zoom Audio only

  3. WhatsApp

  4. Facebook messenger

  5. Email

If you’d like to email first, this works really well as you can have the time to compose what you’d like to say, build the courage up and just “send it out there” once it’s sent…. that’s it…. your job to take action is done. You can then wait and see if anything comes back.

Hint: It will :-)

This is a highly effective initial contact method especially for introverts and people who suffer social anxiety and you can frame it however feels right. This was my preferred method for years!

Some people like to start out on Facebook messenger or WhatsApp as it feels the least intrusive and least overwhelming way to have a (nearly) live conversation. If you feel comfortable, we can arrange a voice or video call after.
