The trick for introverts is to honour their styles instead of allowing themselves to be swept up by prevailing norms

Welcome to the Introvert Corner

Here you will find my work around introverts, how I’m involved and some links to useful information.

Introduction

We introverts live in an outspoken world, with many aspects of life biased toward extroversion. Through years of experimentation and in an attempt to navigate myself through life, I learnt to adapt and built systems and processes to survive.

You will find a collection of my findings and introvert guides about how to level up your life from an introvert’s perspective.

Why?

Everything on this page I have used personally or helped people with directly. I have been asked numerous times for help with all of these topics in person and I’ve seen incredibly positive outcomes from this, so I thought it was time to create a resource of information which could potentially help people wider afield.

There’s plenty of information on the internet but there’s simply too much noise now. You can end up reading for hours on end but have little to show other than a strong feeling of resonance and a good story to tell.

What you’ll get

This page is about understanding your problems and having a set of actions you can execute today so you can start making meaningful progress toward a better version of yourself, not just perpetually reading article after article and never taking action.

We introverts have been lurking in the shadows for too long. We have attractive traits and strengths but they often remain hidden after years of feeling like they are inferior.

If this can help even one other introvert upgrade their life, my objective has been met!

No bullsh*t. No fluff.

Who is this for?

  • Introverts who want to see real changes in their life and are ready to take the next step

  • People who want simple, straight-forward, actionable steps they can take in everyday life

  • Introverts who want to thrive in a world where their natural traits are often out of favour

  • I am very aware that many introverts like to stay in their head, and are incredibly good at theorising. The content of this site is designed to help you get this stuff out of your head and making it happen in real life.

Who this is NOT for?

  • People who are happy to stay the way they are and don’t really want to change

  • Those who are not willing to try something new

  • People who are happy to complain about their situation and are not willing to try and take control of their lives

Why you should listen to me?

  • You absolutely DO NOT have to listen to me

  • Everything on this site is simply my perspective. These methods have worked for me and people I have helped and coached over the years.

  • I have spent years of meticulous refinement of my methods to the point of obsession and I experiment on myself constantly so it’s not just theoretical. I then deployed these methods and processes to people after rigorous testing to see how it works in the real world, with real people and not just me.

  • I do not believe in theory alone, there’s so much sh*t out there but many don’t concentrate on the subtle execution challenges you face from genuinely trying to live it. Knowledge is NOT power, it is only the POTENTIAL. It’s all about effort, action and execution of the knowledge.

  • Every personal situation is different, I have attempted to generalise approaches and philosophies to make it more useful but it will never be as functional as a bespoke approach directly matched with your character.

An introverts meetup group

Introverts like to socialise too! but with social gatherings, parties and “networking” events geared toward outspokenness it's easy to feel out of place, anxious and sometimes inadequate.

I started running fortnightly in person events in 2018. It’s grown from a hand full of people to attendances over 80. I know, that sounds like a lot, but these are all introverts who feel comfortable in an environment built for them.

The group is for those who are seeking to take the leap and try and connect with people in real life. The events are currently held in Bristol - UK but I’m looking to expand to bring more introverts together :-)

STATS:

Members: > 3000 in meetup group

Typical event attendance > 60 introverts

Number of events to date: > 40!
