8 week Transformation Coaching Program

You’re stuck and you want to get direction in your life.

This program takes you through a structured process from assessing what your deepest core values are to…. lining up all the opportunities you could take… to taking the first steps of change in the real world.

Overview:

Here’s an overview of the process that gets you started and it covers the areas outlined below. We will then go through the modules including activities that will help build your compass to set you on the direction to your career moves. 

Grounding: What’s the problem? What are your values? What do you care about? What are your real natural strengths? What are your habits? What’s your character like? 

Compass and vision: Where are you heading? Are you happy with the direction? How does this fit with your overall lifestyle goals? Does your character fit with this new direction.

Strategy: We will design an effective strategy that aligns everything that matters to you into one focal point.

Identity: Who you are, your inner critic and their doubts. Who do you want to become? What would this person do? What habits does this future self have?

Systems: How are your daily routines supporting your direction and best work? What habits does your future self have? What obstacles are in the way?

Action Plan: What should you do first? How will you prioritise tasks?  What do you need to do, what can you cut out? We’ll outline a step by step process while I’ll support you and hold you accountable to the plan.

The Survival Kit: Tools to help build the systems you need. (worksheets and guides) Methods to systematically build your confidence, mitigate fear and anxiety while allowing you to grow.  Strategies to create the desired habits, build environments that create spare energy and free up your time to make you as effective as possible.

Modules:

Below is the material we will cover throughout the program. They are generally in order but we will be revisiting some elements when necessary. Multiple modules are covered in single sessions.



Module 1 Your journey - Starting with the problem

  • Why you’re stuck and drifting

  • Doubt, fear and anxiety. Why risk is paralysing you and dealing with your inner critic.

  • Process mindset, dealing with overwhelm and the two types of fear.

  • Understanding the problem, working the problem in a way that works for you.

  • Opportunity cost of inaction. Probabilities of life decisions. Uncertainty.

  • Intentional design methodology, why it’s the most effective way for the risk averse and the most sustainable strategy for progress without feeling overwhelmed and afraid.

  • Think like a designer build like an engineer - A process - problem - what you have - ideas - narrow - test - refine.

  • Principles - be curious - try - run mini-experiments/build prototypes  - observe - real world feedback - evaluate.

  • Five stages for life - Grounding - The design - become - prepare - prototype 

  • Putting it all together - now have a strong motivation but you’ll need help.

  • Survival kit - Preparation for the journey. First aid for the mind, habits - time - focus, pre-built tools.


    Module 2 Grounding - Discover your values and natural strengths

  • Systematic value building. It’s a step-by-step approach that will leave you feeling energised and excited about the potential of your life it will pick out values and strengths you don’t realise you have. It is also the secret to rapidly accelerating your change by building a foundation you can lean on.
    Your values and what you care about - search filter for your life, rules of thumb for what makes you fulfilled.

  • The importance of your deep values and why you must be thorough. Leaning on them when you make big decisions.

  • How to prioritise - Be fast and effective

  • Happiness - Pleasure and purpose

  • The process - how you feel now, the past, patterns, very near future

  • Life review - boundaries between life categories - Health, work, play, love Work/lifeview - what is work? Why do it? What makes it worthwhile? Is it aligned?

Module 3 Engagement and energy

Process to discover when you are truly engaged and what energises you, this process helps build then leads you to where you need to focus your efforts and the direction you will take.

  • Engagement - When you get into flow - Free focus - producing your best work.

  • Energy - some things energise you, makes you feel alive, some things drain you

  • Joy - What brings you joy, and how can we build it into your opportunities.

  • Work is fun when you are leaning into your strengths and deeply engaged and energized by what you're doing. 

  • Purpose - blending the pot together - work/life view+engagement+energy = purpose

  • Forget passion - Ground up approach 

Module 4 values and your past

  • Mining for gold - memories are stuck with you for a good reason - Insight extraction 

  • Prospective bosses look for marketable skills - Tune yourself

  • Experience - key activities - marketable skills - talent/strength - reputation

  • Childhood interests natural tendencies 4 zones of competence What am I REALLY good at, when “in the zone”?

Module 5 Flow journal

  • Activity journal log - engaged and energised. Your moments.

  • Zooming in - AEIOU activity - environment - interactions - objects - users. 

  • Extract insights from tangible observations, prevents errors in decision making.

Module 6 Mindmap - get out of your creative rut

  • Mindmap effectively - levels of information.

  • Mindmap 1-4 - engagement, energy, values, flow.

  • Fire your mind up, no solutions, the explorer monkey. 

  • Mission statement.

Module 7 Mindset, character and personality

Knowledge that you have a natural tendency of type of work. That companies and businesses need certain types. Career fit and how to find the right ones.

  • What you’re afraid of and how to work with your inner critic and their questions.

  • How to really build confidence that won’t leave you.

  • How to deal with the doubt and imposter syndrome you encounter.

  • Current job role where does it fit.

  • Your natural tendencies where your skillset can thrive.

  • Companies need ALL types of people.

We know where you are, It’s design time. We will start designing and engineering your path.

Module 10 Future self - Identity

Understanding that you need to become a new person to achieve your dream. Your current persona does not deserve it (sorry if that hits hard)

Module 15 Survival kit - (This will be introduced through the modules)

The first aid kit you’ll take with you for your journey. You’ll need this throughout and especially during the times of doubt, fear and anxiety. The tools will help keep you on track and stop the fear of failure, feeling overwhelmed and doubt from stopping you. These will help you keep the momentum up until you can’t be stopped.

  • How to make habits robust and the importance of the role of rituals. 

  • Stress and anxiety mitigation 

  • Bonus - Additional tools to help take action, email/message scripts,templates, checklists, timelines, schedules, action plan maps. 

Module 16 Funding your runway

Dealing with the anxiety of managing your funds and planning forward. Look at the practicalities, logistics and preparation for action. How anxiety and fear can be mitigated by a process.

  • Building a solid financial foundation, clarify your financial reserves gives more options

  • Monthly requirements.Financial runway

  • Crunch your numbers - cash- assets - burn rate

  • Bridge income, cashflow - Adding value

  • Remember - what you need to live, your desired runway income sources, emergency plan 

Sessions:

Session length: 1hr 30mins weekly

We work through the material, how to approach it, dealing with the mindset and implement exercises together. 

Ongoing support:

During the week we will keep upto date with your exercises and discuss any queries throughout the process as well as discuss the topics over email and messenger (WhatsApp, Facebook). 

Accountability - I set between-session deadlines and check up on you to ensure completion and review progress on any worksheets or exercises. 

If you have flexibility during the day time (UK time zone) we can do 10-15 minute query calls instead of the email. (A bonus)
